Founded in 1845, the Partagas little cigars brand is one of the oldest cigar brands in Cuba. Partagas little cigars present an irreproachable quality with modules that suit all occasions thanks to different flavors and aromas depending on the series chosen. The Partagas little cigars brand has been very successful since its creation.
Partagas is the most famous cigar factory in Havana. It is located at 520 Industria, right behind the Capitol, in the city center. The beautiful colonial-style factory building with magnificent wrought-iron balconies bears the equally beautiful sign “La Real Fabrica de Tabacos Partagas” (Royal Partagas Tobacco Factory). The company was founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas. Since then, the cigars produced here bear his name. Partagas was a passionate, enthusiastic fan of the cigar business, he owned large plantations in Vuelta Abajo and himself often traveled there to check if the tobacco bushes were properly tended.
He was not only a true cigar fan, but also a fan of beautiful women, the dark color of their skin reminded him of a beautiful cigar.
Unlike some brands of cigars, the Partagas little cigars brand did not lose anything in quality after the revolution, and even, on the contrary, new sales markets were opened for the cigar. Today, it is the Partagas Factory in Havana that produces the bulk of Partagas little cigars for the domestic market. In addition to the main line of Partagas, the factory also runs such brands as: Cohiba, Montecristo, Ramon Allones, Bolivar, Gloria Cubana and Romeo y Julieta. For 160
years, the factory has changed a bit, production areas have extended, and more light has been added. This is the second largest factory in Cuba. Partagas little cigars are easily recognizable due to their rich aroma and medium-strong strength.
Partagas little cigars have a very nice oily wrapper. Quite progressive flavor, mainly woody, very powerful. A very well made Partagas little cigars, quite heavy and dense for its size. Flavors of dark chocolate and creamy milk. An ideal cigar for a short but intense tasting.
